The mobile application does not require registration or the creation of a user account. The app respects your privacy and does not track your location (GPS), nor does it access your contacts or files on the device without your explicit consent. Basic functions of the app are available anonymously. To deliver push notifications (e.g., local announcements), the app uses anonymous device identifiers via Firebase Cloud Messaging. These identifiers are not linked to your personal identity.
We only process data that you voluntarily provide to us when contacting support via our web form or email:
We use your data exclusively for communication purposes – responding to your questions and providing technical support. We never sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Furthermore, the Vylax application does not contain any advertisements and does not track your behavior for advertising networks.
The Vylax application serves exclusively as a technology platform (communication tool) for local governments. All content published in the application (e.g., local announcements, news, funeral notices) is created and managed exclusively by authorized representatives of the specific municipality (e.g., the mayor or the municipal office).
The specific municipality bears full responsibility for the content of these messages, its accuracy, and compliance with legal regulations (including GDPR when disclosing personal data of citizens in announcements). The Vylax project (as a technical solution provider) bears no responsibility for texts entered by the municipality. Any suggestions regarding the content of announcements should be directed directly to the relevant municipal office.
We retain data only for the time necessary to process your request, up to a maximum of 2 years, unless otherwise required by law.
You have the right to request access to your data, its correction, or deletion ("right to be forgotten") at any time. Simply write to us at help@vylax.eu.
